Steven Gerding is a mortgage professional that has 17 years' experience in the financial industry. Steven started his career with Capital First Home Loans in 2000 as a loan officer. Through his 10 years with Capital First he earned several loan officer of the year awards. In 2010 Steven moved his career to FirstMerit Bank as a Branch Manager. Steven managed one of the largest branches of the bank. During his 7 years with FirstMerit Steven was on the Leadership Council twice, a bank Ambassador during a bank conversion, 2015 Chairman's trip winner, and 2016 awarded stock shares because of his accomplishments. Steven is excited about joining Motto Mortgage Above and Beyond and bringing his knowledge of the mortgage industry to build new relationships. Steven currently resides in Strongsville, Ohio with his fiancée Lisa, his son Carter, step son Chris and their two dogs Penny and Ferb.
