How to Set a Car Clock: Your Helpful Guide

Here we are. Ready to “fall back” once again. What does that mean? It’s time to change the time on all your clocks (cue the ughhhhhh).

The fact is most people don’t look forward to the twice-yearly Daylight-Saving time shifts. Sure, they come with their perks (an extra hour of sleep in the fall and more late-daylight hours in the spring). But nearly 80% of Americans are all for ending Daylight Saving Time altogether.   Until then, though, the time changes are a reality. And while you might be tempted to just leave that car clock untouched until it’s time to spring forward, knowing the right time is well worth those few quick button presses. Trust us.

So, let’s dive into how to set a car clock, whether you’re a Toyota lover or a Honda fan.

How to Set a Car Clock: Don’t be Intimidated!

The fact is that cars (and their clocks) are all a bit different. Odds are there will be some changes between model years, and definitely between manufacturers. So, unfortunately, one size just won’t fit all.

Don’t let the car smell your fear, though. If you’ve tried all the tips above and still can’t quite figure out your car clock, take to the user manual or pop over to the maker’s support site. You can poke around for a handy FAQ article or maybe even a live chat window. Good luck!
